Featured Replies

MiniVDO: The Sanam Chai pitch near the Governor’s office is now set for an international 80-80 Rugby tournament.

The international rugby tournament is scheduled to take place at Sanam Chai near the Governor’s Office during 16 – 24th November with seven teams from six nations confirmed to participate. They are from Australia, Sri Lanka, Laos, Singapore, and Thailand, playing under the 80 kilogram format rules with equal average weights of teams. The vice president of the Rugby Association of Thailand under the royal patronage พลอากาศตรี Prayut Buppakasikorn together with Patrick Cotter of the local Phuket Vagabond Club team recently met with Phuket Governor Nirund Kalayanamit to discuss preparation as the tournament is also aimed at celebrating HM the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary on December 5th 2007. The organizers expect around 50 million baht circulation during the 1 week tournament.
