So little Sammy Lee has left Bolton by " mutual consent " :o .

I did predict ( I'll try and find it later :D ) that Sammy would be first to go.

He is a great coach but not ruthless enough to be a manager , like Steve McMahon said

" he just wants to be everyone's friend ".

All the best Sammy :D .

Bolton part company with boss Lee _44181347_brk_news_football_203x152.gif Bolton have parted company with manager Sammy Lee by mutual consent.

Lee was promoted from assistant manager in April after the exit of former boss Sam Allardyce.

But he has had a difficult start to the current campaign as Bolton lie second from bottom of the Premier League with just one league win to their credit.

"This has been a difficult decision for all parties but we have agreed the time is right," Bolton chairman Phil Gartside told the club's website.

Frank McParland was general manager at Bolton and he has also left the club.

Gartside added: "Sammy has played an important role in the club's recent history. We wish Sammy and Frank well for the future.

"Our efforts will now be to look for a replacement manager to concentrate on the future." Lee became a coach at Bolton in 2005 and his mangerial role at the club was his first after being involved in the coaching set-up firstly at Liverpool and then with England.

Mutual Consent, My Arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This seems to ber the latest envogue statement in the EPL. I think if we are looking for the first confirmed sacking it's going to be Martin Jol.

I predicted the same as well. It looks like everyone will go by mutual consent now. Must look better on their CV's :D

I demand a good old fashioned sacking. The EPL, isn't like it used to be when I was a lad, now all these managers, they get mutual consent, and nice pay off and foot massage, in my day they goot booted out the door, blah, blah, blah :o

Here is the Bolton Wanderers board room scenario:

Chairman: Sammy you are <deleted> and you've gotta go......however we will say that you agree that you are <deleted> so the feeling is mutual.

So you can leave by MUTUAL consent. But we will leave out the "<deleted>" bit. If you deny you are <deleted> then we will sack you

Sammy: Thank you Mr.Chairman I'm <deleted>....where do I collect my wages for the next two and a half years?

Chairman: Cheque is already in the post.....and of course as always and only because everyone else does it, we want to thank you for all

the hard work you have put in since you havebeen at the club. Thats what our statement will say but what we REALLY mean

is that you are <deleted> and thank you for taking Bolton from European contenders to relegation candidates.

Shut the fukcing door on your way out.

Remember the statement by the Bolton chairman when Allardyce left. It went something like "We have gone as far as we can with Allardyce, and we're going nowhere. With Sammy Lee and the new team we gan get to where we want to be".

The Championship?

Laurie Sanchz next on the list mate, Fayed wont spend millions like that to be fourth from bottom or wherever they are down there.

Yes we want a good ole sacking , & then for once I'd like a commentator to say Ronaldo was booked for diving / cheating & not the vague description "simulation" :o

Steve Bruce is my bet to get a real "sacking" once Carson Yeung completes his takeover ( Jol will get let of the hook by " mutual consent " :o ).

I think Bruce will go, but I think he will genuinly resign.

For me Avram will definately be the next to go. Chelsea is 'losing it' completely

Just seen this on the bbc , from Big Sam to litlle sam to Gary Megson ????.

Considering Bolton chairman claimed he got rid of Sam Alladyce because "he has taking the club as far as he could and now it's time to turn Bolton into european qulification contenders" , ........... strange choice of new manager Phil :o :

Bolton want Megson as new manager _44112586_megson203.jpg Megson is a hard taskmasterLeicester manager Gary Megson is the front-runner to become the new Bolton manager, BBC Sport understands.

Graeme Souness was interviewed for the post last week but Bolton chairman Phil Gartside has confirmed the Scot is not interested in succeeding Sammy Lee.

Now Gartside looks set to turn to Megson and he is believed to be prepared to pay £300,000 to get him.

Bolton are understood to want to make an appointment before Sunday's Premier League match against Aston Villa.

Your timing is spot on :bah:

Howvever Martin Jol has been SACKED...so we can now say that he is the first EPL Manager to be "SACKED " this year.

Chris Houghton who has been at the club since 1977 was also SACKED

Where do Spurs go now?

At this rate, next Season it'll be places Like Hartlepool, Colchester, Plymouth, Cardiff etc, etc.....

Just listening to the BBC now, and they are saying that Ramos is on his way and that the Bookies have stopped taking bets.
