(BangkokPost.com) – The airport express link will be unveiled on November 9, according to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).

Acting SRT governor Bancha Kongnakorn said trains to be used in providing transportation services have arrived at Lam Chabang port in Chonburi province....

According to authorities, the airport link is now 70 percent complete and it could take at least 370 more days before the entire route is finally completed.

I saw some of the new trains have arrived.

I guess at Makkasan u can transfer to a commuter train coming from Chachoengsao to continue to Hualamphong.

I thought they were going to extend the Skytrain to the airport.? Is this train going to interface with the BTS? They will need to add some new rolling stock to the BTS if they do.

What exactly are the stations between the airport and Makkasan?

I live out Hua Mark way, and it may be closer than the BTS at Ekkamai or the subway at Ratchada to get into town.
