Does anyone know if there is a bike shop somewhere on Phuket that does boots, trousers etc for bikes? Doesn't matter if they are for the road or dirt as either will do.

Thanks

Tesco usually stock a good range of flip flops in all sizes. Most people seem to use them here.

Can try dirtshopthailand.com but in bkk

thanks, will be in bkk on thursday so will check them out

They used to have a shop in Phuket but closed now.

But in BKK you will find in their shop what you are looking for.

Have a good and safe ride back home!

of course it will rain the whole way and i'll spend a day trying to get out of BKK but apart from that it should be a great ride back......... just a shame the bulk of my bike kits in the UK but then its a good excuse to go shopping for new stuff :D

There's a shop called West (or is it East?) Coast Riders on the bypass road that has a selection of motorcycle gear. I got a nice mesh jacket and some riding trousers with kevlar pads in the knees and hips there. It's quite pricey though.

Heading away from Lotus it is in one of the last blocks on the left.

I stopped a farang yesterday at Tesco Lotus and asked him how much he got his BMW650 bike.

He tells me 507,000baht.

So today, I rode on a borrowed Honda Wave to check out the prices of big bikes at Phuket and chance upon a Teera Motorcycles.

they quoted me a price for a 2nd hand 900cc bike which I find reasonable. Folks there speaks english too. Anyone has any reviews about the shop and any other recommendation?
