National park archipelago closed to visitors

(BangkokPost.com) – The National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department has officially announced the closure of Mu Koh Ang Thong National Park to tourists due to the annual monsoon season.

The announcement applies to all hotel accommodations and tourist destinations within the national park. Chaisant Hiransalee, head of the national park, said the closure will allow natural resources within the national park to recuperate during November 1 - December 23 every year.
