Thailand Post - My Visa Is In The Mail

Featured Replies

Sawatdee krap! My friend works for a Bangkok newspaper - but she somehow missed the urgency (communication can be difficult). So she waited until y e s t e r d a to mail the passport to Pattaya. It's desperately needed to make booked flights to California, car rental reservations, the works.

Q: do I have a chance getting it? Or should I try cancelling everything? And do you think this is some dead cert way to tell me to "bugger off" and leave her alone? Thanks for any thoughts! Chris

A new visa obtained within Thailand? Or a visa extension?

Mailing a passport? Sounds risky.

You do not need a passport to make reservations.

Answers: a new 12 month's Temporary Investors'VISa, issued by the Consulate in Frankfurt. According to my friend Mint, it was mailed 2 days ago by EMS. And should arrive this afternoon. My plane departs tomorrow at 6 am. So - you all better use DHL or whatever and never let this happen. It's a diuretic experience ;-(

get the ems number from your friend and goto the post office personally.

it could just be sitting there
