Uk Student Visas And American Holidays

I've been asked to see if I can find out as much info as possible about the follwoing situation. I hope someone here may be able to help:

Thai national with a full British Passport living/resident in the UK has a Thai girlfriend with a Thai passport and a UK student visa doing postgrad course at a UK university. Her normal country of residence is Thailand. They want to go to Disneyland (Florida) for a 2 week holiday later in the year. I'm sure the guy can get into the US on his British passport without problems. What about the girlfriend?

The g/f will require a visa for the US. As currently her normal country of residence is the UK she should be able to make her application at the embassy in London.
