From what I understand I have to show that i would not have to claim additional public funds

if my fiance/wife came to the UK.

and that I have to show I get more income than the minimum paid by income support,

which for a couple is currently £92.80, if i get more than that is the public funds criterior satisfied ?

I actually get the following help

Tax credits £115 pw

Child benefit £47 pw

Incapacity Benefit ( suffered neck injury in accident) £98 pw

becasue I get more than income support would pay, but unable to meet all

of my mortgage they pay me 10p p/w income support so that I get some help with the

mortgage (they pay about £55 pw to my mortage co)

my fiance/wife is a very hard worker and already has a job offer in the UK if she can get visa !

so income would rise when she gets here and I would actually get less public funds as

they would stop the help they give with the mortgage.

do you think that we would satisfy the public funds criterior ?

I think this is our main hurdle , and it is causing me great stress thinking about it

You're pretty much correct, and the details should be addressed in the covering letter.

I note that you receive tax credits. Do you work in addition to receiving Incapacity Benefit?
