Hi

I have a problem with mine, i just bought a Fujika FCP-250 to replace the pump we had previous as it was too small, the new one doesnt have a tank, its a direct pressure one i guess, in a 3 level shop house, a bathroom on each floor, the pump runs ok and then stops once pressure is up it stops, but then after 5 minutes it comes back on and ends up never turning off till it boils the water in the pump and then wont pump till it cools.

I have checked for leaks, there are none, it has a one way valve after the pump to stop bleed back thru the pump, there is a once way valve on the pickup in the under floor tank which is also functioning correctly and stopping water draining back from the pump inlet.

I got no idea why its doing this

Hope someone can point me in the right direction or refer me to someone in Pattaya that is good at these things.

Thanks

Baz

I do not understand why there is a valve after the pump (or do you mean between the tank and pump?) but if there really is it would not be a leak in your home system as the pump does not have access to anything after that valve. So you must have a leak back into main tank (I would expect a check value at input to pump for a below pump draw). Is there not a pressurized small size tank built into the pump? I use a Grundfos water cooled direct pump and there is a cup size pressured tank to prevent cycle on for loss of less that 4 or 5 oz water. That has to be pumped to about 20lbs pressure with a tire pump to work.

May I suggest you go back to the place you bought it and ask them to send someone out to take a look. Usually when I buy something like that, a place (like Niyom Panich) or even some mom and pop place, they are willing to install it for you.

Your problem with the pump could be a leaking seal (air pressure) or any number of things, and maybe even a "bad" pump.

Sorry couldn't help much more.
