I know a similar issue has been discussed a couple times,,, current UK visa in old thai passport , wife should bring both ( old and new passport ) along and there should be no problem. Hopefully it is the same case for EEA residence card.

My wife has got a EEA residence card ( we live in theUK ) still valid for 4 and a half years on her old passport , he just got a new passport last month , we are going to spain in december ( schengen visa already sorted ) and I was just wondering the regime wereby current visas on old passport are fine is the same for the residence card ,,,

May be I am getting a bit paranoid but although I realise the EEA residence card is effectivelt a "visa" on everything but the name ,,, however i think it is worth asking just in case.

thanks !
