Etihad Air

Featured Replies

A friend of mine has just got a price London-BKK/Bkk-London £370 with Etihad Air.Anyone know anything at all about them?

Etihad Airways is the new and official national airline of the United Arab Emirates, based in the UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi. :o

My Mum visited me last month and she flew with Etihad. She said they were fine, better than the last carrier she used (Royal Jordanian)

They put you up in a free hotel both ways. She said the hotel was nice too

Thanks for the replies. All very helpful :o

I've passed the information on to my mate with my own comment : that I'd probably choose Etihad over Royal Jordinian (his other low price option) if only because-in my own experience-the airport and (free) hotel at Amman are very poor.

I flew Etihad. I chose them because my only criterion was cheap. I was expecting little but was very pleasantly surprised. You do have an overnight stop in Abu Dhabi but the hotel is all laid on and perfectly fine.

I was told that Etihad have only been in business three months and are aspiring to be the biggest players in the long-haul market, so my impression is that the prices are low to drum up business. In other words grab a great deal - it won't last!

i flew Etihad, 8 weeks ago. London to Bangkok. Best flight to Thailand as of yet, will fly with again. And o the price £319 :o

Was this a student fare.If not,who did you book it with?

Cheers.

you could get them for less than 300 a few months ago when they were doing the introductory offer :o Doubt that or the 319 will still be avail though..
