I built my new computer about 3 months ago.. Motherboard Asus M2N4-SLi .. AM2 Live technology

My Heatsink is a G-Power Ice Cooler..

My problem last week was the heatsink fell off…….. well the lug on the black [4 screw holder] on the motherboard has broken off, and I cannot find a new one anywhere.. [Pantip, Zeer Ransit, Pata]

Has anyone any idea where to get one ??

On Asus website [Asus Asia Pacific] contacting them one sends a message inside the web site so no idea where Asus is….. There reply ‘sorry no have take back to suppliers’ I have receipt and that was my 1st port of call, they have no idea, they said 2 options take out motherboard and they will return it and we will see from there = 10 days or so, or buy a new motherboard…. {err this is a new motherboard 3months old + warranted}

As the motherboard is so new, no one has 2nd hand parts for it yet.

At this moment I have drilled a hole in the plastice and fitted a screw in place of the lug so I can use PC until I can get a new part.

Please anyone any ideas as to where I could buy this part?….. or is my repair fine for the long term??
