Shortly my girlfriend of 1 year will be applying for a fiance visa, now we have everything together barring 2 glitches.

1.I have 4 months wage slips but i have 2 weeks wage slips missing ive asked for them re printed but it dosnt look promising ,will this be a problem?

2.My girlfriend has "misplaced" her birth certificate but has a passport will she still need the certificate.

I am a tad worried on the above points.

Just one other thing, what time should i arrive at the visa app centre?,i hear the queues can be long

British or American? I think you might get different answers either way.

If American, I doubt the missing two weeks pay slips matter much, if you have all the rest, but she definitely does need a birth certificate. She will need to get one from the local authorities, and have it translated.

Im british,

the reason i posted the question is bacause i was told she does need a birth certificate but i emailed the embassy on 2 occasions one told me ,no passport will be sufficient and the other said yes,as you can imagine i was a tad confused.

Does she have to go to her home town to get a birth certificate?.How long does it take?.and last but not least LOL where can i get it translated or will they do it at the "amphur" for a fee?

A birth certificate is not required to apply for a UK Fiancee visa (so another one for the nays :o )

See confirmation in the UK VAC guide for Fiancee visa
