Aside from a two SIM phone, are we anywhere yet in Thailand on having multiple lines on one mobile phone?

I did some searching of this site and the web and noticed the technology to place several numbers on one SIM, as well as the advice on having two SIMs combined by splicing them together, but is there a more "legitimate" option out there yet?

And if anyone has done the less legitimate, how is it working out?
