If True Ubc Offer New Channel For Old Western Television Series

If True UBC were to offer a new channel devoted to old wester television shows.

Which shows would you like to see?

I'll start off with Star Trek, or Alfred Hitchcock presents

Eastenders, Coranation St., Brideshead Revisited, I Claudius, Last of the Summer Wine. Would be great to see these again!

Agree with I Claudius.

Surely Eastenders and Coronation Street are good reasons to leave UK on their own?

You obviously haven't been away from the UK long enough then, me old Matey! Coronation St. in particular would go down especially well with an order of Fish&Chips and a few bottles of Chang or Beer Lao Dam :o

I read it wrong too. I was going to vote for "Bonanza". Don't think I could really watch that now, though!

In no particular order:

'Kung <deleted>' with David Carradine,

'Magnum P.I',

'Hill Street Blues',

'SOAP' (Richard Mulligan made me laugh a lot),

'Baretta',

'Twilight Zone' (the newer series that started with Bruce Willis),

'Sanford & Son' ,

'Fame',

'All in the family',

'The invisible man',

and many more....

'Mork & Mindy'!!

'Taxi'!! If you liked the polish character go look the movie 'Man on the moon'! 'Thank you very much'

How could i forget 'MASH'.

'Alias Smith & Jones'

'Happy Days'

'Sandokan' and the first year of 'Roots'.

'Addams family'

'Quantum leap' (Oh boy....)

'The Six Million Dollar Man' (Steve Austin, Astronaut,... )

'Columbo' (not all of them, but a best of would be nice)

'Doogie Howser' first season

'The Streets of San Franscisco'

'Fantasy Island' (The Plane, The Plane...)

'Starsky & Hutch'

'The Incredible Hulk'

'The Wonder Years'

'V'

'The Muppet Show'

These i would like to see again especially the ones that are not available on DVD. Probably never will be broadcasted again because most of them are dated 'formats' and would be considerd boring and slow.

Those would be great. Will toss in China Beach as one of my choices.

I can see some posters don't watch TrueVisions Platinum as many of the shows mentioned are repeated ad nauseum.

My TV watching days are long over, only some news once in a while. I hate commercials with a passion.

I deliberately wait until a serie has at least 1 or 2 seasons and then i buy the DVD's or i download it.

I did that with '24', 'Battlestar Galactica', 'Lost', 'Rome', 'Heroes', 'Monk', 'Stargate Atlantis', etc.

Now we view it when convenient and not on some strange hour with every 10-15 minutes a commercial break.

BBC test card , I could watch for hours. Does the girl ever win at noughts and crosses though? will there be sequel if she does, maybe the clown will go ape sh** and blow her brains out.

remark: if u r not a big sports watcher person i recomment u to use UBC silver package... many of nice channels, old movies, serises etc.. it worth the money less than 1000 B

Aired: 1990 - 1994

Show Type: Live Action

Country of Origin: US

In living color, the brainchild of Keenan Ivory Wayans, was a weekly comedy variety show that put a new hip urban edge on American comedy. Once being called a "black SNL", the show grew in fame with satires of popular movies, music and commercials as well as happily exploiting various ethnic stereotypes and repeating sketches like Homey the clown, men on film and Fire Marshall Bill. The show featured the multi-talented Wayans brothers Keenan, Damon, Marlon, Shawn and sister Kim. The show also included many other talented black comedians such as Jamie Foxx, David Allen Grier, along with the shows "token white guy", Jim Carrey. In Living Color also played host to an array of rap and r&b talent with backup dancing provided by the Fly Girls.

You walk on the moon

and float like a ballon

you see it's never to late

and it's never to soon

Take if from me it's aiight to be(In Living Color)

And now that you feel knowing prejudice was obsolete

and all mandkind danced to the exact beat

and night it was safe to walk down the street

You can do what you want to do

In Living Color

You can do what you want to do

In Living Color

Everybody here is equally kind(In Living Color)

what's mind is yours

and what's your is mine(In Living Color)

And know that you feel

knowing everybody was your friend

from thin to thick and through thick and thin

and egotistical trips was put to an end

You can do what you want to do

In Living Color...

I Love this show!

I bet you have the 1st 7 seasons of the great Columbo series. Those are clearly the best but Columbo made a comeback from '89 to '94 and most of that stuff is pretty good.

I forgot to mention "the fugitive", a classic show that spawned the great movie with tommy lee jones and harrison ford
