There's another guitar / music store on the second floor (IIRC) of Fortune, isn't there also a Yamaha music outlet up there too?

Went to the one on the second floor and the Yamaha shop but I didn't know there were more on the ground floor. looking at other links on the forum theres quite a few off Khoa San Road, but whether they sell these I don't know, I suppose only one way to find out.

Go to the Mall Bang Kapi (Guitar Village 2nd floor) and you will find a nice classical for your price range as there is 35-50% off at the moment. And you should be able to get the headphones no problem there too. They speak some english.

A better option would be to buy a digital 4 track like a Korg ToneWorks. That gives you a 4 track, effects box, tuner and drum machine and smaller than a paperback. I plug my guitar into that and can have a full band playing without the wife realising I am in the room!!!!

For anyone interested in where to buy a mini amp I finally got one in Pantip at the guitar shop on the second floor, about the size of a paperback made by Fender 2000 baht battery or mains operated just had to buy the headphones.

Thanks for all the info.
