We're going to Chiang Mai for New Years Eve but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of guesthouses listed, can anyone recommend a reasonably priced one?

Also is there a good chance most of the accomodation will be booked up?

Could you be more specific on 'reasonably priced'? Such as 500 Baht/night, 1000 Baht/night, etc.

I haven't stayed in one for yrs. so can't recommend really. But I can tell you this... our readers will know, but to get ppl to come here and read the topic in the first place.....
