Hi

I can confirm that you do not need the visa before you board the bus as you will obtain the visa at the border.

The timetable for the bus is:

Departure from Ubon Ratchathani, North Bus Station

7:00am - 9:30am - 12:30pm - 15:00pm (Arrival in Pakse in about two hours)

Departure from Pakse, Km 2 Bus station

7:30am - 8:30am - 15:30am - 16:30 (Arrival in Ubon in about two hours)

Cost is about 220 baht each way

Thanks for the help. Looks like it will mean an over night stay in Ubon for me. I am on the Air Asia flight. But that is okay. Thanks again.
