Lovely shot "KW" = you saw this one for sure.

I guess the time taken was about 30 minutes or so prior to dark. If this is so, maybe had you waited another 10/15 minutes for the light to change then a lot more drama would have been introduced. Conversely, perhaps the train in the background would have disappeared then?

Excuse the pun, but the lanterns really lighten the shot up.

Overall I'd say that's as near a perfect shot that I've seen.

Took the shot just before 6 pm and yes the Train was the main factor of posting this photo.

Will take your advise and go back to shoot the shot with more drama as I live 2 klicks away in the New Year.

Thank you for your comments. :D

P.S. I love puns :o

Lovely photo Kan Win, lots of things happening in the shot, if I could take photo's half as good as that I would be very pleased.

Where is the photograph??

Where is the photograph??

OK I can see it now. There must have been a network glitch.

An excellent example of the effects you can get by shooting around sunset time.

The lanterns would be lost in full daylight and the background would have been lost a little later.

I like the use of the tree as a natural frame to the shot.

The train is an added bonus. :o

Love that shot! Good job good job.

I wanna know where is it photogrh. too??

Bridge over river Kwai in Kanchanaburi, upstream on town side of river.
