I would like to install one in my car and I have seen on the net few companies selling them ,

I would like to know from your own experience/knowledge more..

*the idea is to track the car on the map and get it back in case its has been stolen.

Friend of mine uses the same system in Eurpo to track all the trucks in his shipping company, and it works well!

Along with his office cam's, he just loves to lounge away at his swimmimg pool here in Thailand while keep an all seeing eye over his operations

So yes, from what I have seen these systems work very well, not sure of the price locally, in Europe the monthly fee's can be quite high though, although for a single car in can't be too high.

I don't get it why the insurance companies don't go for these systems. They can recover the majority of the cars, and the car owner pays a lot less to the insurer...
