Not sure where one would start as photography is part science / part art ....and what one likes, another may not. The first pic I am not hot on, the second one i kinda like the colours of the leaves, but 2/3 of the picture ( left side mainly) is quite dark / un interesting. Maybe a crop keeping the house and getting rid of the rest might work.

As mentioned earlier threads, I have done underwater photography, and am always miffed at how non-divers will like a picture I hate, and the ones I love ( and other divers do ), dont get a second look.

I remember a business acquaintance in HK was thrilled with my UW pics, and wanted one for enlargement. When she told me which one she wanted, I almost fell off my chair as i would be embarrassed if anyone saw it in her house. Tried my best to diplomatically steer her to another one, but nope - Thats the one ! :o

Good luck..fun hobby.

wonderful colours.

I applied "Velvia effect" (SilkyPix 3.0 Free version). :o

the second one looks like a painting. pretty.

Actually, I like the contrast of dark on the left and bright colors on the right in the second photo, gives it an odd kind of balance.

I like the second one - very beautiful.
