HI

i will buy a new PDA phone, any of your guys know of any good ones? dont say iphone :o

The first choice you have to make is about the operation system: Windows, Palm or Symbian.

My choice is always Palm: It's small, efficient, fast and there are thousands of applications to buy or as Freeware available.

My choice would be (and has been) the TREO 680. I does every thing I want it to do and much more, is fast, reliable and not complicated.

I also have an HP 6925 with Windows, but that was a bad decision and I would be glad to sell it to anyone interested.

The Treo680 is sold in The Mall (Paragon and othe The Mall shopping centers) for about THB 18'000

If you need further advice, PM me.

As a lady who prefers her gadgets small and light, I like the HTC Touch:

HTC Touch Elfin / HTC P3452

HTC Touch / HTC P3450

Sorry, the website's all in Thai but just to show you what it looks like.

Functions are pretty good too. I know about the Windows/Palm debate but I don't mind Windows (that much :o) and it syncs with company's Outlook, while for Palm the IT guys said "no can do."

When you make the initial set-up for a Palm device, for HotSync etc. you are asked if you wish to synchronize with Outlook or with their propietory programs. Ask you IT guy again. Some are biased against anything not form Redmond. (Just as much as I am biased against anything from Redmond :D )

Yes I would agree with that. Palm is extremely stable and easy to use. I have been a palm user for 6 years. Unfortunately they are becoming less popular these days and the pda phone market it becoming more competitive. I think part of the reason is because of the absence of wifi in many their phones. If you want a few things done really well i.e organising your schedule, making phone calls and checking emails then palm is great. I have used both pocket pc, palm and smartphone now. I would say the latter two work the best for me because of easy of use. Fortunately smartphones are becoming cheaper anc cheaper. A good smartphone is the dopod c720w (aka T-mobile dash). It has a qwerty keyboard for fast data entry and there's no touch screen (one less thing to worry about damaging). Has wifi and comes with push email software (blackberry connect). Great for msn messenger while on the bus. Also has edge when you cant get a wifi connection.
