Hi,

I am just about to start the process of trying to bring my wifes 5year old daughter to the uk and hoping that you guys can help me along the way.

My wife is here on a 2 year settlement visa which doesnt expire untill Setember 2009.

Firstly do we have to travel to Thailand to put the application in or can we post the application to friends or family who can hand it to the VFS. (My wife will bring her to the U.K if the visa application is sucessful). Also will my daughter in law need a TB test before applying for her visa and if anyone could also confirm which application form i need.

You need a VAF4 application form and your step-daughter will not require a TB test as she is under 11. She will, however, need to attend the visa application centre in person, but any relative may accompany her.
