I think that is excellent.

Very natural, which is sometimes difficult to achieve with children.

So often they are self-conscious.

You have obviously cropped out unwanted background.

It is a shame about the rod sticking out of the left of the girl's head.

A slight change of angle when you took the shot might have avoided it?

We always need to look round the edge of the view finder before

committing the shot.

It's a nice shot, the colours and exposure are good BUT, with kids, shots looking DOWN on them seldom work. Maybe had you bent down and addressed them at an eye-to-eye level this shot would have been more powerful.

Nevertheless it's good.

Did not even notice the rods, now I look there are 2, one left and one right...I think it was the neck coils unravelling !!.

Two excellent points, one I had never thought of and the other very rarely....that is the ability to quickly judge the background and move to suit, hard with a kids shot as you are concentrating on getting them looking as you want....second was to take the shot at eye level...I will try to put both those points into action next time.

Thanks.
