Tot Ipstar Down For 4 Hours

Featured Replies

My ToT Ipstar conection went down today. That is, it connected, just could not get up websites, international as well as national. Not even TOT's own website.

Neither could I ping anything. Tried Open DNS, proxies etc...to no avail. Restarted modem, checked computer for virus, rebotted everything in the book. (worked internet support for 3 years so know all the tricks) - Nada.

So finally calls customer service who informed me ToT Ipstar was down Thailand wide. And told me to wait and try again tomorrow...luckilly up again now, but TV took 2 minutes to load!!

Ok...at least its working....mai bpen rai

But did others on Ipstar have trouble today"?

Yes, mine was down hard.  When my IPstar phone stops working with the internet ya know its a problem at tot not just the internet.

was about six hours total.  After it came back it has been working great.  The last time this happened my normal good connection was trash for the last 5 weeks, so I hope it means they fixed something.  Will find out later in the day when my connection likes to drop into the 5k area for hours at a time.  It never used to do that until an outage like this one that happened in Dec. Hope! Hope!

somethings been fixed.
