Data Lost During Cut And Paste

Featured Replies

I was trying to transfer some data from flash memory stick to my desktop. I cut the data I needed from the flash memory stick but deleted the folder which it came from. As a result, I couldn't paste to the desktop. recovering from the recycle bin didnt help. Is there any way to get my data back?

Not if you Cut or Move! It's mainly a memory problem if you loose data "on fly"! It could even be a wrong key sentence, may you was pressing 2 keys at same time withou to realize it! Once the wrong key combination is pressed, the ,e,ory is gone, say the clipboard data are deleted. Those clipboard date are in the memory and not on harddisk.

To avoid some of that problems you should use a Clipborad software which let you keep some amount of different data on harddisk. There are some Freeware programs available.
