We are about to have TOT broadband connected. The word from TOT is that they allow "one computer per phone number". I know a lot of the broadband companies have a policy of only connecting one machine, and we certainly would not tell them that we have successfully connected routers, but regarding TOT specifically:

has anyone connected a router to their service? Does anyone know if they use MAC filtering to prevent other machines from being connected, apart from the machine to which is originally connected by the installer?

i use a router( not at home right now, so not sure about the brand name of it) with four slot but only connect to 2 comp, work fine

And even if they are using MAC filtering it's no big deal. That's what the MAC cloning feature on most routers is there for...
