Lawn Seed And Concrete Mixer

Featured Replies

Anyone know whether it's possible to buy lawn seed in Khon Kaen area. I would prefer to seed rather than turf.

Also,

Trying to source a "normal size" concrete mixer seems impossible! All I can find are the big ones.

Tks if u can help.

banK, Tool Pro in Udon Thani stock small electric cement mixers. I have not seen lawn seed hereabouts, if I may offer a word of advise re growing grasses from seed in the tropics, unless you have good loam which will hold moisture it is a real battle getting seed to germinate, you virtually have to stand there 24/7 until the grass is about an inch high.

If the seed dries out just prior to or just after germination it is finished.

Thanks ozzydom noted about the lawn seed but how do they grow it to sell on as turf!

Buffalo grass would do me fine as can cut it regularly

They grow the turf on very heavy clay loam and keep it constantly damp ,some have misters going full time.
