Hi, whenever I try to burn a cd, data or audio I get a process failed message.

It seems to start ok then I get the message

'Power calibration error'

E:TEAC DW-224E-C

'Burn process failed at 4x(600KB/s)'

The drive reads and plays cds fine and has burned cds fine in the past.

I am startiing to suspect the burner part is us, any ideas?

Thanks for reading, Andy.

Make sure you've got the right driver loaded.

Try a different burning software.

I like DeepBurner because its free and also there is a portable version, its a handy one to keep on a thumb drive.

Cheers

Hi thanks for your suggestion.

Just installed Deepburner, tried to burn a disc and got the same failure message.

Suspect my burner even more now!
