Us K1 Visa Process ?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just got engaged to a nice Thai woman I am trying to get started on the k1 visa process.

I think I have a good handle on what documentaion is required but I am not sure what comes first.

Do I just start the process by filling the I-129F, g-325a(me), g-325a(her).

Also do i submitt a g-325a for her 5yr old daughter?

Do i send all my information in with the application or is that done at the interview for me?

I have collected the following in print, emails, phone records, IM log, 2 travel itenaries, pictures of me her and family, my income, my housing info.

Things my girl is working on. Proof that she is not married, Por Kor 14 showing she is the only provider for the daughter (she never legally married), letter from her work, Birth certificates for her and daughter, passport photos, translations for all documents.

Can I give her the same proof of relations that I am using? emails, photos, IM log, my phone records

I guess my big question is do i need to wait till I have all this information and mail it all at once? Or will they collect this information at each of our interviews.

I also read that i need to write a letter stating my intentions for her? Is that true? Also it seems that she has to write one to?

I would appreciate any advice. thank you
