Big bike ridfers, please don't mock.

This poll is to find out just how much people want to use a clutch, change gear or be lazy.

Pleae vote on your preffered choice of transmission on wee little bikes here in LOS.

I personally don't like clutchless geared bikes. If I have gears, I want a clutch. However, after riding a Nouvo for a few years, I couldn't go back. Love it!

I drive a CBR and like the fact that I can pull in the clutch on the way down a hill. Also being able to modulate clutch slip(when needed) is a bonus. Wife has a Wave 125i, and I hate that clutchless little POS. Granted you can slightly pull up or push down on the shifter, but if you go a little too far it will want to get that next gear. Not to mention you're using your left foot which is being bounced around by the road.

Transmission to the purpose of the bike, I would hate manual-gear transmission on our paksoi bike, and I would hate automatic transmission on one of our regular bikes.

Hi :o

I'm all for fully manual - on "normal" motorbikes such as my RXZ or anything bigger than that. However the little ones like the Wave etc i prefer semi-automatic (gears but no clutch) because it allows the left hand to do something else - as i used in Chiang Mai when going to buy building stuff with the ave there, those 2m long metal things that don't fit in the car... i can hold them in my hand and still drive the two kilometers back to the house (thru a village only, i wouldn't do that on main roads).

Fully automatic i can't stand on the bike, only in a car :D

Best regards....

I also want my lefthand free to pick my nose, carry stuff etc etc....so much more comfortable to me atleast....

But i do understand the ppl that prefer automatics....and with clutch aswell :o
