Hi

Some advise would be most appreciated on the following problem.

My HP 1280 will not print. The ink light is blinking.

I have removed good cartridges ( Nos 45 and 78 ) from another printer fitted these and the ink light keeps blinking. Hence I am sure it is not a cartrige problem.

I have removed the cartridges and cleaned the contacts but to no effect the inj light keeps blinking.

Has anyone any tips or ideas of what I can do to solve this problem.

Are the catridges you use now from the same printer model? Or the catridge no is the same as the original for that printer?

HP is very sensitive about the catridges. You cahn't use an different Cat.No. than the original!
