George, I am only trying (and yes I am very trying sometime) to help T.V.D.C. (ThaiVsa.Dot.Com)

But, why does it not work on the forum below, but works on this forum ?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Editing a post in Where In Chiangmai Is The Train Station? (my edit page)

Try to edit that post, and just save it again, and it will look great!

:o

Thank you George, I will try it.

Warm regards

This problem still exists in some forums. I tried to post a quote in one forum, "Farang Girls in Thailand", and it did not work.

I copied the same text to this forum - as an example for you to look at - and it worked. What is going on?? :o

It might be worth mentioning the browser being used. Some of the mangled posts, e.g. Kan Win's last post but one, are showing a lot of HTML. About the only HTML-like feature not on the menu that works is character codes, e.g. typing, without the spaces, ( & # 97 ; ) for item b in a list so I don't get the smily :o. The tool used (UBB?) is similar to HTML but has a different syntax.

OK, my quote works here, but have a look here:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...=0entry171126

The quotes don't work and I posted it about 1 minute before this one!!

I'm using firefox, and all was well up to a few days ago.

Edit:

I cannot get ANY thread in "Farang girls in Thailand" to process quotes correctly. George? You forgotten to 'enable BBCodes' or something? :D

Edit 2:

And now, this morning, it works! B*gger me! OK, if it happens again, I'll reboot my PC and see if the problem goes away. :o

Today it works great. :D

Thank you George, Huski and the back-room staff of T.V.D.C. :D

"Beam me up Scotty as it seems to be working once again…" LOL :D

And let the force be with you all on T.V.D.C. :o

"Out there, it was life, Jim, but not as we know it..." :D
