Like to photograph people, these pictures where made on a nightmarket in Hat Yai.

With very old Yashica D 6x6 b/w. Postprocessing; scratch layer and colorized.

For sharing and evaluate :o

I especially like the first image.. But I think you have been a bit heavy on the post processing..

I also like shooting people pics.. But I feel a bit uncomfortable just shooting without asking, and you dont get the naturalness I like if you ask and they pose.. how do you guys get over that (just shoot away ??)..

Really good "Longneck" - a very appealing and interesting treatment.

I always ask first. You just never know who might take offense. And if you're shooting kids, you'll most CERTAINLY need to get permission.

Then I take a few "nothing" shots to settle them down. Once they're used to my presence, I wander around and shoot what I'm really after.

Thais actually seem to love having their photos taken anyway, so don't be shy. It does help though if you can speak Thai or get the G/F to explain.

This photo looks like you pasted a man's face on a woman's body? Other than that, the creepy old style color and texture looks are kewl... Almost like an old crime scene or a very old photo... Not knocking it!!

I often find people, especially kids, will ask to have their photos taken. :o
