On a similar note, as the original is for sale everywhere as well, is that in english?

I bought the original for my wife.

It's all in Thai.

What's more some of the textures do not load up. Many of the walls display text on a white background listing which texture is required.

Highly annoying for an Original purchase

OK you can use the thai version to play in English.

:: HOW TO INSTALL AND PLAY THE SIMS 2 IN ANOTHER LANGUAGES ::

-1st step-

Copy all of contents in CD1 into your HDD

-2nd step-

Then go to a folder name Autorun and use notepad(start>programs>accessorries>notepad) to open a file named 'Autorun.cfg'

-3nd step-

Serch for the line

thai=1

fix it to

thai=0

and choose your language

EX.

English UK=1

Polish=0

Thai=0

then run setup.exe in your CD1 content folder

*notice*

To me it's always been a game for the ladies - wife spent HOURS just designing her sims look

Real blokes only play games with guns, cars & footballs in them.... just imagine a game with all 3!!!!

Am I right or am I right :o
