You just missed Milton Jones, John Lenahan and Mickey Hutton at the Bulls Head over the weekend. I nearly went but the 1500 Baht entrance fee put me off.

The unrivalled king of surreal wordplay, Jones belts out the non sequiteurs at a cracking pace belied by his dazed and confused persona.

It's fair to say a few gags misfire, but the accumulative effect of so many genius lines is very forgiving, allowing the industrious Jones to weave in new gags all the time and constantly keeping his hilarious act fresh.

I defy you not to laugh uncontrollably at the hilarious parade of perfectly-timed lines like 'After my grandfather became ill, my grandmother greased his back. After that, he went downhill very quickly'.

saw him at the comedy store last night and he was absolutely hilarious. I am a huge fan of his humour and his delivery of his punchlines. great laugh, absolute genius. Steven 05.09.04

Milton was on in Jongleurs in Glasgow tonight and was absolutely hilarious. Everyone absolutly loved it and the audience reception to him was fantastic... well except from one guy right at the front who didn't seem to get it, but Milton engaged the man and won him over and received a standing ovation from him at the end of his set. Absolutely hilarious. Graham 29.08.04

Pretty ###### funny. Malinda Smith 16.08.04

He is a complete genius, funniest man ever! Cedric 06.08.04

Amazingly funny. His jokes have a briliant way of creeping back into your conscious days after the show, and are just as funny when remembered Michael Rimer 02.08.04

I wonder where can I get Milton Jones's book 'One-Liners for Dummies'? ######, I should have asked him in Enfield last night. Ok, so some of the gags were funny but they just got too much and joke-after-joke fell on their arse to bewildered silence. I suggest he starts interacting more, because when he did that he was much, much funnier. Tombola 30.07.04
