Audacity Recording Program

Featured Replies

I use Vista Ultimate. Installed Veracity today and I cant get it to do what I want but perhaps it is not designed for what I want.

I sometimes want to record a VOIP call, for example when giving my broker a trading order. ON my analog headset, I can hear the other party clearly, but Veracity records only my voice. I have tried a number of other recording programs and it is the same with all programs. I tried it various ways with test calls on Skype and haven’t managed it.

Is there a program, free or shareware, that lets me record also the incoming sound? Or can Veracity do it and I just have the settings wrong?

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Audacity can do that.

Oops, I meant Audacity, and it's with Audacity that I have this problem. Obviously, then, I’ve got something wrong with my settings, but what?

The headset is plugged into the front panel of the PC.

I attach some screenshots and photos to see if it will help identify my problem. If other screenshots are needed, please let me know.

P.S. I am changing the topic title to reflect the correct name of the program.

Your recording comes from the microphone only - try other options from dropdown menu (top right part of the screen).
