I live in Phuket and my mother is over at the moment and we are off to Bangkok tommorow. She is staying on soi 18 klong toei and I dont know bkk that well so can anyone tell me the best places to go for the copy handbags, watches and general clothes. I know khao san road but that seems to be more for cd's and tshirts? Anyone tell me the best places to go and roughly how much a bag or a watch should cost??

MBK has loads of that stuff and is airconditioned..

Take a walk along Sukhumvit on an evening or as one posted said try MBK, prices? expect to pay more for the label that is current trend i.e.. last years bag designs will be cheaper

Go to the Chatuchak Weekend market. Get on the BTS Skytrain, ride it all the way to Mo Chit and you're there. You'll be buried in knock offs of every kind.

MBK for one-stop; Pratunam/Platinum Fashion Mall for ready-to-wear clothing/bags. Bags are 199 THB and up. Patpong for bags, accessories and watches. Copy bags and clothing are fine; I wouldn't buy a copy watch here. You can find some excellent replica watches.
