Word is. 2 months ago if a person supporting Trump made a comment like that the hateful 8 would of swarmed like a hive of angry wasps. The irony is delicious. If not there I wouldn't make any comment. However over and over daily we see the same vile garbage being spouted. All be it by a very select few now. Most others scattered In the dark of the night. A few of them still visit AN but strangely enough have nothing to say anymore. Using the phrase made popular by them. Weird. -

Presume you have deleted all your cache and history in Chrome? Also maybe try the command line. Type cmd and open cmd.exe - then after the prompt type ipconfig /flushdns May or may not help........ -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
It means you don't owe any taxes per the LTR decree. I'm in the same boat. The "file a return, even if no tax owed, if your assessable income exceeds 60000 baht" is a peculiar anomaly in Thai tax law. It's been mentioned that there's a 2000 baht fine for ignoring this rule (big deal). Fact: No reported incidents of this. And someone on this forum scaremongered that you might be subject to a back 10 year audit; ludicrous, because such long term audits are only for folks who, up front, didn't file with the INTENT TO TAX EVADE. That ain't you. So, relax. And, for Christ's sake, don't go to your local TRD office for advice on LTR visas. Very few there are knowledgeable on LTR visa related info -- and for sure, probably none on the assessable/exempt tax question. I had to hire an agent to do my one-year LTR report, as they'd never heard of it. So, relax. No reason to call you in for an audit, unless you're remitting millions of baht. And even if they did, you're clean. -

Its an interesting connundrum - how to make the area safer... To continue the discussion with you: Wouldn't the traffic also be making up for lost time at well over 90 kmh at the point the trucks U-Turn ??? I would assume that 250m is easily enough distance to slow down IF the area is well lit.. (even with a flashing orange amber light). It seems to me that to avoid a dangerous situation, they have created an even more dangerous situation. Indeed - they don't notice a U-Turning lorry either - at least a turning lorry is out of the way faster than a U-Turning lorry. Neither is a safe situation, but where else can the lorries head in the other direction ??? (its either a right hand turn or a U-Turn somewhere). Yep... as usual, something better could be done instead of 'kicking the can down the road' literally and figuratively. -
