March 21, 200817 yr My mistake,I thought 'Private' was the Bedlam forum.You should be able to deduce who it/he/she is via IP address then.Nice disclaimer Ping. With the amount of spam I get on one of my sound forum pages, all from the same couple of spammers - it is appearent that changing IP addresses is a very simple process. Every second day I block their IP's and the very next day they have a new one.

Sometimes members decide for a variety of reasons to change their nickname. They may have been targeted by someone or a group of people for whatever reason. Other times they may have gone off the rails and collected a bunch of warnings but not been banned. They may regret the choice of nick or just want to change it for some reason. There is nothing in the rules that says a member cannot have multiple nicks unless one has been banned. In the validation process Admin may discover the duplication and ask why. They may not allow it until they discuss the reason for the duplication. Admin can change a members ID if requested and that allows the member to keep their original post count AND their warnings if any have been issued. If Admin believe that the poster has a valid reason to having two nicks eg the member may be a sponsor and want one "official" ie for the sponsorship and another for "personal" use. There have been a couple of members who have retired old nicks and started up new ones when they decided to go legit. Like most things if the member has a valid reason for doing something and asks Admin upfront them most things can be arranged.
