5 Months In Bangkok

I'm going on exchange to Thailand --> Chulalongkorn University, from Jan till May

I have found lots of places on the net where I could possibly stay, long-stay hotels, apartments and guesthouses I want to spend around $250 per month on a place. What would you reccomand me ?

And like would it be smarter to just go there and find a place or arrange it all before I go?

...if you have any other advice for me, please let me know

The staff mentioned that they always try to provide ECC teachers with a quiet room with table and lamp for doing homework! Prices start at 400 baht per night for a single 450 for a double. thanks for pointing out that Chula offers accomodation, I asked my exchange advisor and he told me that currently there are 2 dutch girls there and Chula recommonded them to stay in a hotel which right now they are paying 350 euros per month, I don't know why they weren't able to get a place on Chula campus but I've just mailed the Chula exchange department and we'll see what they say

Another question though, cause I found the 2 campusses available for Chula students and which one would you reccomand:

1. U-Center International House

2. Suksitnives International House
