It was a great day out in the city of dreaming spires, although I really should have stopped drinking after the first 6 hours when my body was saying enough is enough,

I was encouraged by my companions to push the boat out that little bit further and keep going for a couple more hours, so thanks for that..

I feel better now.

There was one thing missing though from the day to make it complete...

Indeed, a very passionate go we had of it!

Must have drunk most of Oxford dry in the 10 hours or so we managed to stay awake.

I do confess to not recalling much after those double whisky's I started buying in the Lamb & something.

I was sorry that we couldn't meet our notable absentees, Tots, Chon, Markr. Another time perhaps?
