Super Fast Internet

Featured Replies

What options are there for superfast internet in samui, at present I have shared 1 meg ADSL, I need 2 meg minimum, preferbly 8meg. Any idea of options and cost. I have a feeling it will be pricy.

CAT does a dedicated line to your house. Go talk to the CAT guy at the Nathon Post Office for details. Not sure where on Samui it goes, but he could let you know for sure if you are capable of getting it.

I get 2mb from TOT. Although when testing I've rarely seen it above 1.5 and often below 1.0. The cost is 1000 baht/month.

Thats what I have and am quite happy with it.

Get a G.SHDSL line from CAT. 2.3Mbps upload and download, and you'll get around 1.8Mbps international.

Get a decent router (Cisco 828 or 878 will do the best job, or choose Zyxel)

That sounds like what i need, I need minimum 500kb upload, preferbly 1 meg or more upload, dedicated line. It's for live streamin, think it could be costly....
