Just interested to know about this . . . no other reason :o

I'm rated as a senior member, whilst others are advanced or whatever. How is this decided? (And by who?). And what difference (if any), does it actually make to the individual concerned? (Does he/she have different posting rights etc).

no difference , it depends on the number of posts made.

I think it's somethins like

Newbie 0-10

Member 10-100

advanced member 200-500

Senior Member 500-1000

Probably wolfie or huski know the exact numbers.

But hey : i'm just sitting here .... Doing Nothing.

:o

So what did you do wrong? You have 600 posts or so and you're still only a member! (ya boo shucks...)

I think length of membership has something to do with it.

Hey, that should guarantee this goes off topic

You have a missing member thetyim ??? :o

No simon , normally your name on top is related to post nr's. But Wolfie or huski (don't know which one anymore) can change it in to something you ask for. there's a thread somewhere.

The group below is Members and only related to your status. It will show banned when you're banned, and moderators or similar when you're a mod.

as you can see the tyim is a "missing member"

I changed that myself in control panel.

Do I have to ask to get my member altered now ?

You used to be able to change it yourself, not anymore - you have to pop a post in the relevant thread in forum support and when Huski gets round to it he'll make the change.

a custom title can replace these titles in your control panel...once reaching 500 posts

Now lets talk about the blue box system :D

see how many the Doc has nowdays? Compare his, to mine or Huski's then your own :D

Any questions?

(sorry Huski :o )

Just interested, anyone ever reached Titanium or Star member yet?I see a few of the old school with 3000 in sight. Or maybe the creative soap opera writer will get there first :o

Oops, my apologies. Just saw the good Dr's number of posts :o

well it's about the same number of letters as my current 600 post.

But i can't joke about that.

Doc is a very sensitive person :o

This is another posting on my way to the titanium membership.

Is it possible to have Erect member, placid member or even spent member. I'm not too bothered as long as my member keeps rising.

It is possible to have any sort of member if the mods approve.

I remember seeing " huge member"

maybe thats why you have to get permission these days.

500+ posts, you can fill in the custom member title field:

the same as a username, if there are too many complaints then we will ask you to change it

Now lets talk about the blue box system  :D

the blue box system lines up with Huskies synopsis, just add a number to each category and I reckon they match.

Short, chat-box like contributions are the best way to 'advance'.
