Just To Confirm Re Re-entry Permit At Airport

Featured Replies

Hi -- I have two sixty day visas. My first sixty days will end/expire on April 21. I am heading home to the states on April 19 for ten days but wanted to make a trip to Cambodia during Songkran weekend. I do not want to waste my second visa for the four days I will be here between trips so thought I should get a re-entry permit. The flight to Cambodia is around 3:00 in the afternoon so I thought I could just get the permit at the airport. Is this correct? If so, how much time should I give myself to get it?

Would I be better off sorting it out next week at the place here in the city? I would rather not but will if there is a chance I will not get one at the airport.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yep no problem at the airport, 1000 Baht for a single re-entry.

The desk is in the immigration buffer hall behind the Thai check-in desks so you must have checked-in before you can access, process seems fairly quick but (being paranoid about missing flights) I would get there and check-in as early as possible.

Don't forget PHOTOGRAPHS there are apparently still no facilities at Swampy :o

Thank you for the quick response and for the reminder about the photographs. I checked prices at a place near me last week but then it completely slipped my mind. I need them for Cambodia too I believe.

Have a good weekend.
