Hello All,

due to the response from my previous post, the management at Centara Grand beach resort have agreed to a Tennis tournament taking place on the 24th and 25th May 2008, if entry numbers are high it will continue to the following weekend 31st May/1st June.

There will be a mens singles and ladies singles and hopefully if we have time a fun doubles tournament. The cost will be 500baht per person for the singles which will cover the cost of tennis balls and prizes, dont forget that if you lose a match you keep the balls and first round losers are automatically entered into a plate competition so you will have a minimum of two matches.

i have spoken to some thai people at other 'tennis' resorts and they are interested in playing aswell so lets hope we can make it a truly international event.

entry forms can be obtained from the health club desk at Centara-Chaweng or by calling me, Jez, on 0892793627.

If you need any more details feel free to contact me during the day, night time calls will not be appreciated!!
