Suspected female drug dealer caught in Naklua.

Police Colonel Sarayut, the Superintendant of Banglamung Police Station has been concentrating his efforts in the Naklua area recently after receiving information from concerned members of the public that the area around Soi Potisan is quickly becoming a haven for drugs.

On Wednesday Morning, he announced the arrest of a female suspected of dealing in class 1 drugs. Khun Sirijan aged 30 was arrested in Soi Baegon in Naklua after officers spotted her acting in a suspicious manner.

She was searched and was found to be carrying 20 Yabba Tablets in a small plastic container. Each tablet was individually wrapped, suggesting they were about to be sold. Khun Sirijan confessed to intending to sell the tablets in her possession and was charged accordingly.

Soi Potisan has become a right sewer. I lived there 20-odd years ago and it was almost a rural existence with the option of a quick zip down Pattaya-Naklua road for either shopping (north) or beer (south), the Wong Amat beach (west) and a minute from Sukhumvit (east).

I am back in the same soi and the between the Sai Sahm intersection market and Sukhumvit there's now all these karaoke shitholes. Didn't they bust one of them a month ago for having underage Lao girls upstairs for 'customers' like that stuff? From 2 am, there's youths tooling back and forth on m'bikes and popping across the street to the 7-eleven just isn't a safe option till daylight. All these m'cycle taxi guys setting up every hundred yards too. Must be ya-baa paradise down there now.
