I have changed jobs and due to the work permit office messing things up I now have to get a non imm b in Lao. Problem is I am 5 day overstay. Question is, can I pay the fine at passport control at Friendship bridge or do I have to go to Nong Kai immigration to pay?

Pay it at the bridgeno problem, during my overtstaying career i was a month and then 3 weeks over and they just told me it was illegal and not to do it again and that was that...the paranoid group wil tell you that you need to jump on a plane and fly out or go immigration asap and generally fill your head with thoughts of immigration cells and a flight home..but just go there and look sheepish and you will be cool..
