jasreeve17 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 But what 'counts' more then? Capacity = revenue (when multiplied through by percentage). Percentage = ? How popular the top teams are? How much a team is loved? How well you're doing that season? Portsmouth get a high percentagebut that only equates to 20k per home game. Whereas Bolton have the lowest percentage, but a slightly higher gate. Arsenal have a similar percentage to Portsmouth, but get triple the gate... These figures can say so much that they become meaningless.

Anyway points of discussion can be about catchment areas. Portsmouth average of 6,000 before 'Arry. Whatever.

But with at least two that'll be coming up, there's not going to be much room left for the rest to worry about on the relegation stakes I reckon.
Spit the Dog Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Another league table and Man Utd are top yet again.

EastSaxCol Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 Another league table and Man Utd are top yet again. Yeah, well those who live on the Surrey stockbroker belt have loads of expendable cash to travel up to Manchester for every game.
