I was eating breakfast in The Pub not long after the bungalows opened talking to a wealthy couple who, on a side trip while sailing around the world on their yacht, were staying there. Since the bungalows were new, I asked them how they liked staying there. They were very pleased with the accomodations. Being close to Chiangmai U, there are plenty of tuk tuks and baht buses going by in front.

I had look and they are fine - new, clean and comfortable. Didn't stay there because I live here but I would suggest them for anyone who wanted to stay that side of town.

You can't say the food in the Pub is expensive and then try and plug your own Guesthouse. The food is not expensive. That is coming from someone who has eaten there. Have you? Your reasons for it not being a good place to stay are POOR! Are you a Thai politician?

One Very good reason for staying at the Pub would be to have a Sunday lie-in and get up for a magnificent Sunday Roast.
